Supportive Therapy for Comfort and Recovery

Interferential therapy is a form of electrical stimulation that may be used as part of a broader chiropractic care plan.

At Victory Spinal Care, supportive therapies such as interferential therapy may be incorporated into care when appropriate for your individual needs.

What Is Interferential Therapy?

Interferential therapy uses electrical currents delivered through electrodes placed on the skin. The therapy is commonly used to provide supportive care for areas experiencing discomfort or muscle tension.

What Can You Expect?

During a session, small electrodes are placed on the treatment area. The electrical stimulation is delivered at a controlled level based on your individual needs.

Your chiropractor will explain the process and determine whether this type of therapy is appropriate for you.

Part of a Personalized Approach

Interferential therapy isn’t necessarily used on its own. Depending on your condition and goals, it may be combined with chiropractic adjustments or other supportive therapies.
